Alfa AWUS036H 1000mW Wireless B/G USB Adapter

New in retail box with 5 dBi gain antenna included! We have this 802.11g wireless USB adapter from Alfa (model AWUS036H). This is the most recent 1000mW (1 watt) version from Alfa with the "1" logo and authenticity hologram on the product. What sets this USB device apart from other USB adapters on the market is that this has an RP-SMA antenna connector so that you can add an external antenna to boost your wireless range. This is the newest version from Alfa with a 5 dBi gain rubber duck antenna in retail box.

This has a stunning 1000mW output power. So if you are looking for a device to connect to an outdoor 2.4 GHz antenna, such as on a boat or an RV, this is a perfect solution. Because this is a USB adapter, it works on any computer (desktop or laptop) that has a USB port. In addition to working with the usual suspects (Win98SE/200/ME/XP), this also works with Windows Vista, Linux (kernel 2.6.6 and later) and Macintosh (OS version 10.4). And the necessary drivers for ALL of these operating systems are included on CD-ROM so you don't have to go searching around on the Internet. That being said, we should note that our technical staff can only provide advanced support for Windows operating systems. We can provide limited support for Mac and Linux.

Some new laptops from manufacturers like Dell and HP no longer include a PCMCIA card slot.
